The Day I Felt Much Better

Sometimes, we shouldn't say things or do things on impulse. Like when I said I won't date anymore. Well, I take that back. I guess sometimes life throws you in the strangest dispositions and expects you to pick yourself up and take things as they come.

I guess I'm in looove again...

Today was a really, really slow day for me. After a morning of kor kor Justin's and dreadfully long passion readings at church, I went to my grandparents' place for lunch, followed by a trip to Suntec City to get a new fan for Dad. Then we got home and I napped for awhile before heading out to Pasir Ris for seafood. Seems like an age since both Dad and I went out for dinner together. Anyhow, we had a really good dinner and I had a wonderful time watching the sunset...

The Day I Got My Computer Back From Fixing

Wow... It's been an age since I last blogged.

Let's see, the past week has been a really emotionally charged one where I got myself into this whole, big and god-damned relationship(s) problem. I'm seriously never going to pray for a relationship anymore. Uh-uh. No more...

I'm so sick of myself. Urgh!!! Anyway, I got my computer back from fixing today, and I'm now $95 poorer. A pretty big hole in a non-working 17-year-old's pocket if you ask me. Oh well, for the sake of my computer, I guess it's worth it... Met Gloria for lunch at NYDC Heerens and blew another $20 there. But I guess it was pretty worth it, considering the fact that I shared my problems with her, lifting a little bit of the heavy burden from my heavy, heavy heart. Vice versa for her, except maybe her problems weren't so heavy.

Got home at about 5 and surfed the web for awhile before I had dinner and went down to church for Easter practice.

God, affairs of the heart is such a pain...

The Day I Went For The Recording

The past 3 days have been prettyamazing for me. So here goes...

Tuesday

I got my Norton Antivirus 2005 from Sim Lim Square. Met HX there and we went hunting for his Nokia 6630's screen protector. In the end, we got the $12 one from the ground floor of the mall. After that, we headed back to my place to reformat my computer. It took us a total of close to 3 hours to complete to reformatting and reinstallation. Now, my lovely HP is bug-free, lag-free and crap-free (except dust-free. Gotta work on that.)! After the whole trouble, we went to Paradiz Centre to meet Dan for dinner. After a quick dinner, we got to the pool place and played pool for 2 hours. I'm getting better at it now heh...

Oh well, HX was leaving the the next day for China, so we said our goodbyes and will most probably see him again after he comes back from his Europe tour. How time flies....

Wednesday

HX's flight was at 6.45 and he had to leave his hotel with his mum by 4.15, so we didn't send him off. I went to the Supreme Court to get his translated documents for him and slipped off to Funan to look for the nely relocated Alarics and I found it on the 5th floor. Got my X-23 book #2! Yay! Finally, the truth behind X's conception is revealed.

For those who wanna know, X-23 is a clone of Wolverine, the former Weapon X in the Weapon Plus program. Ever since his destructive departure after the adamantium bonding of his bones and claws, the scientists have been desperately trying to create an equally powerful clone, to no avail. Dr Sarah Kinney, an expert on the mutant genome, managed to clone a female specimen of Weapon X on the 23rd try. Hence the name X-23; X in memory of her predecessor, and 23 in respect to the number of cloning attempts.

Today

I went for my recording today! I met YZ at MI todayin the morning for a rehearsal of the song and we met some of our very nice seniors Shu Jian, Pok and Venus. Had brunch with them before we went back to our respective homes. Then at around 3 o'clock, I went down to the NYDC at Suntec City to meet Mr Goh and several of my ex-classmates. We had a lovely time eating and chatting (and if I'm not careful, blowing my diet). Soon, I had to leave for my recording.

I met YZ at J8 and she got a Mos Burger meal before we headed for the CHS recording studio.

The recording studio

We did quite alot of takes for the whole song but it was wrapped up pretty quickly cos we got on with the flow and became more comfortable with the whole recording processes along the way. Shall put up the song on my blog soon, once I get it.

YZ and me, after the recording.
